“Terrifier 3” is the third movie in this chilling thriller series. The ruthless “Art the Clown” makes his return to torment his next victims. When the “Terrifier” first came out, it attracted many fans and gained cult status because of its atypical gore and violence. In this third film it seems as if the directors are pushing their limits on gore and gruesomeness.
The third film in this sequence has a distorted theme of Christmas and the holiday season, it expands on “Art the Clown’s” twisted vile character and shows his malicious unusual ways of terror. Leaving even the biggest of horror fans “Terrified.” Simone Baldwin ’25 who found the movie somewhat comical, gives her input,
“The ‘Terrifier’ was really good, it was just a lot of jumpscares,” Simone said. “The main character is also kind of funny.”
Gabby Harrison ’25 who watched the first one and the most recent one shared her thoughts.
“The first one was very graphic,” Gabby said. “Especially since it looked more low budget, it made it look more real, but the third one was way more in detail storyline wise.”
