Ultimate Frisbee (Boys)
Courtesy of Coach Ken Kirschner: “After losing nine of the top 10 players from the team that fell just short of the state title the last two years, this was a rebuilding year. Captains Jay Kapadia ’25, Wyatt Cobb ’26 and Robby Bickerstaff-Davis ‘26 took over for the departed players and helped guide the team to a 3-3 record on the season. Their best performance came in the last game of the season against Maynard Jackson where the team started to put everything together. The future is bright with 11 players, including several that have the potential to be all-state players, returning next season.”
Ultimate Frisbee (Girls)
Courtesy of Coach Ken Kirschner: “The seniors on the girls team have had six different coaches during their time at Woodward. This has created a bit of a roller coaster in terms of their growth and development. Despite all of this, the captains — seniors Ellison Baer, Brie Beyah and Ryley Yasseri — directed a team made up of mostly new players to a 3-3 record. Overall, this season was among their best since the girls team was formed nearly 15 years ago. The seniors leave the program in a very good place with continued growth expected in the years to come!”
