What was your favorite out-of-uniform day this week?
“I think this one [spirit out-of-uniform] was my favorite because I really like my outfit and I think everybody’s, like, class themes look really, really good,” Spencer Williams ‘26 said.
What was your favorite part of the parade so far?
“Eddie the Eagle got stuck in the car… I think his costume was, like, too big he was, like squished in between the backseat and the front seat. He was laid out on the side,” Jaia Williams ‘26 said.
“I really liked all of the high school trucks and the bus driver’s performance. The female bus drivers, they do well every year. It’s really cute,” Lillian Stokes ‘26

How do you feel about today being your last homecoming parade?
“Yeah, man, I get to see all of the superlatives and the people I grew up with,” Jacob Lewis ’26 said.
Are you sad about it being your last year?
“A little bit, but I’m actually kind of excited to get out of here and enjoy college life,” Jacob said.
How do you feel about this being your first homecoming parade? Are you excited?
“Yes, I’m very excited about seeing the cheerleaders,” Zoe Belle ‘29 said.”I have some friends on the team.”

Kicking Off The Homecoming Parade
How many years have you participated in the Woodward Academy Homecoming Parade?
“This is our 10th year,” Indira Hamilton said. “The JV volleyball team is in it for the first time. My daughter [Savannah Hamilton] is a JV volleyball player. I am excited to see her.”
