Every day at lunch, many Upper School students go to the Student Center and line up at the Woodward Eatery. Most of the student population loves the options the school provides; however, over the past couple of years, items sold at the Student Center have been phased out. The Butterknife conducted a poll to see the general consensus on foods that have been discontinued or reduced to appearing on a weekly basis instead of being sold daily. Some of the discontinued items at the lounge are Quesadillas, Grilled Cheese, and Tenders (which used to be sold daily instead of weekly). In this poll, students were asked whether or not they would like to see the item returned. For Quesadillas, 58% of the 50 respondents voted in favor of bringing back quesadillas, and 42% voted not in favor of bringing them back. For Grilled Cheese, 58% voted in favor of bringing them back, and 42% voted against returning them. Last but not least, for Tenders, 74% of the respondents voted in favor of bringing back chicken tenders daily while 26% voted against returning them. While we don’t know what the future holds, it’s certainly interesting to see what students might like to eat again.
